Let's Floss

I don't think I'll ever have to worry about Alyssa's dental health. She always wants to brush and floss her teeth! Addison could take it or leave it. 

The Garage

Our garage is called a '2 car garage', but the way the shelves are built in there it's a tight fit lengthwise for my van. Also, impossible for a 2nd vehicle to fit side by side. To help me not back into the shelving, I put one of the girls swim floats up against the shelf. The pictures below show my view from my fancy rearview mirror camera. I watch the camera while I'm backing up and once I touch the swim float then I know the garage door can be closed. I think this is a genius idea!

Addison the Fashionista

Addison came out of her room ready to go run errands and was wearing this outfit. I told her she looked beautiful and to get in the van! Whatever makes her happy! Alyssa will sometimes be vocal about what she wants to wear, but I still have the most control with her wardrobe. 

Little smarty pants completed the maze by herself and was so excited!

These are the moments...

Alyssa's 3 Year Well-Visit

Alyssa had a great well-visit! She was an awesome patient and cooperated fully with the nurse and doctor. Her stats are 26.4 pounds and 34 inches. She's still hanging out around the 5th percentile for height and weight. Addison was 32.5 pounds and 37.5 inches at her 3 year well-visit. The doctor mentioned hearing an innocent murmur, but wasn't concerned about it. I remember a while back we had to see the on-call pediatrician for a sick visit and she also mentioned hearing a murmur. When we saw the regular pediatrician again, she didn't hear anything. There weren't any vaccines this time, but there will be FOUR next year!

Louisiana Birthday Party

One day the girls are going to be super sad when they don't get to have multiple birthdays every year.

Water Slide

Just another day at Memaw's house! Alyssa still isn't ready to go down by herself, but she loves for me to slide with her. I'm sure by next year she will be doing it on her own! Right now, she loves jumping in the bounce house and playing in the pool. Addison loves everything about the slide and could play on it all day long!

Pianos & Puddles

Memaw wasn't happy about all of the kids playing on the piano, but I thought it was a wonderful sight!

I also thought jumping in puddles after an afternoon rain shower was a wonderful sight!

Lake: Day 3

Logan and Arabella came to visit us at the lake! The boat was a little scary for them at first, but once we  got to the open water they were okay. Not okay enough to get in the water, but okay enough to not cry! Maybe next time. I can imagine how overwhelming being at the lake for the first time was for them. 

We tried some fishing, but didn't have any luck!

Lake: Day 2

The weather was gorgeous all weekend and the lake was nice and warm instead of freezing like last trip. The girls would've stayed in the water for hours!
