Christmas Eve 2015

We watched Santa load his sleigh and fly away!

We put out carrots and sprinkled the reindeer food!

We left an orange, a lemon, cookies, and milk for Santa!

We opened one present each!

We hugged and kissed Eric goodbye!

We fell fast asleep!

And then this happened...

School Parties 2015

This year was quite hectic juggling the school parties! Kinder & 2nd grade parties were on the same day at the same time! Luckily, this will be the only year for this! In Addison's class, we played pin the carrot nose on the snowman, ate some goodies, made a craft tree ornament and did a book exchange. In Alyssa's class we ate goodies and did a book exchange. On our way out of school we even ran into Santa!

Early Texas Christmas

We had an early Christmas with Grams and Pappy before they left for Florida!

Lights, Lights, Lights

The lights in our neighborhood bring people from miles away! We couldn't pass up the chance to show off the lights to Erin and family! I thought about reserving a hayride, but decided against it. In our own car we can go at our own pace and stop and go as we please. It was a great time!

Party Weekend

Erin, Danny, Parker and Mila came to visit for the weekend! It was also Erin's birthday weekend! We had a fantastic time visiting and watching our kids play together. 

Lemons to Limoncello

I finally quit talking about making limoncello and made it! I was impatient, so the lemon peels only soaked in the Everclear for 6 days! It's supposed to be super amazing if you let it soak for a full 30 days. I have plenty of lemons, so may whip up another batch. 

10 years

Happy 10th Anniversary to us! We went to see Mockingjay 2 and then to dinner. Grams and Pappy hung out with the girls while we broke free for a few hours!

Look at all of these cute kids! Addison's teacher is a wonderful lady. She does have RBF, so that threw me off in the beginning! Alyssa's teacher can easily be mistaken for one of the kids. She's constantly engaging them and down at their level. It's no surprise that she won Teacher of the Year! She's amazing!

Breakfast with Santa 2015

The end of Thanksgiving through the start of Christmas break has been crazy busy for the Hospitality Committee and PTA volunteers! We collected and delivered donated pies to all the teachers for Thanksgiving and then distributed a Christmas tree to each classroom. Right after that holiday break, we got started on a little school gift shop for the kids to buy presents for others. This was the first year for the gift shop and it was a huge success! And then there was the much anticipated Breakfast with Santa!

A friend of mine fell and shattered her elbow. She had surgery, so I decided to take her a big pot of chili. Well, we stopped by the store for crackers and came out with 2 new 'pets'! Yes, I'm weak.

Happy Thanksgiving 2015

We spent our school break at home in Texas this year. Grams and Pappy came over and joined us for the Thanksgiving feast. We've had many challenges this year, but still have so much to be thankful for.
