Baby Blues

One morning when I woke up my left eye felt different. My vision was cloudy and floaters everywhere. There wasn't anything visibly wrong and after 2 days it still wasn't right, so I knew it was time to see the doctor. At the first visit, my left eye pressure was 31 and the normal range is 12-21. I started eye drops and went back for a recheck 4 days later. My pressure was 20 at the second visit. This is the look I had during my 3rd trip in 11 days to the eye doctor! I was over it and waiting to find out if I could stop using 2 different eye drops 6 times a day. Well, the 3rd time was a charm! My left eye pressure was back in the normal range at 16 and the doctor believes it was an isolated event that caused the inflammation. You only have one pair of eyes, folks! Take care of them!

Spring Break 2016

During spring break we met Grams at the Museum of Natural Science! The girls enjoyed the dig pit, short movie about astronauts, and seeing all of the exhibits. We went to see Zootopia with Grams on another day!

Alyssa's Kinder Field Trip

My tiny little peanut rode a bus for the first time to the field trip at the arboretum! Yes, you know I was following close behind with 3 other moms. While hiking the trails through the arboretum we saw snakes, turtles, frogs, birds, and many different plants and trees. It was fun for most, but a few kids weren't shy about saying how boring it was! Can't please everyone every time! I would definitely take the girls back for a visit.

Zootopia

The girls finally got to see Zootopia a couple of weeks ago! Grams even joined us!

St. Patrick's Day

MVP Alyssa

Alyssa was MVP and got to bring home her class pets for a couple of days. It used to be just the dog, Boo. However, Boo now has a partner, Grumpy Cat! 

Twinsday

Last week our school celebrated Dr. Seuss 'Read Across America' and each day was a different theme. Friday was 'twin' day. At first, Addison & Alyssa were going to dress alike. Then B's mom called to see if Addison & B wanted to dress alike. She was going to go shopping, so we all agreed the 3 girls could match!

School Playground

We've spent a lot of time at the school playground lately. It's really the perfect place since the track is close to the playground. We can walk the track and play!

Crawfish

First crawfish of 2016 and they were delicious! Addison ate one bite and Alyssa ate enough to make up for what Addison didn't eat!
