Surprise Lunch

Addison went back to school Thursday and I surprised her at lunch to check on her. She was so excited to see me when her class started walking down the hall towards the cafeteria! It was like Christmas morning for her! Surprise lunches are the best!

Vote!

On the way to vote last week, I was explaining to Alyssa about how we can choose either the Republican or Democrat party. Once we got inside the school to vote, she asked me where the party was! I had to do a little more explaining!

Spot-itis

Addison has spot-itis! Also known as hives. Spot-itis is an episode of a Lalaloopsy cartoon. One of the characters was painting and ended up with colored spots all over her body. Her friends thought she was sick with spot-itis! Sunday morning she awoke with a swollen lip/face. I gave her Zyrtec, but it didn't help, so I went and picked up some Benadryl. The swelling went down and I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. Until Monday evening at bath time. Big red splotches everywhere! I gave her Benadryl and within 30 minutes the old hives went away. However, three hours later new spots showed up and 102 fever. I gave more Benadryl before bed and she was fine until 5:30 Tuesday morning. Her legs and feet were itching. When I turned the light on to inspect, I was shocked at the hives covering her! More Benadryl. I called the pediatrician at 8:30 and was able to get an appointment at 10:15 with the nurse practitioner. As I suspected, it's something viral and we just have to wait it out. If the hives are still hanging around Friday then we have to go back.

Rockstar Party

Addison went to a birthday party last week at a cute little boutique. The place offers different themed parties and is a little girls paradise! Salon/spa party, Princess party, Rockstar party, etc. The girls sang and danced on the runway and had the best time!

Halloween 2014

Trick or Treat! Anna & Elsa got way too much candy! After one hour their little feet began to hurt and it was the perfect time to head home. 

Halloween Morning 2014

Halloween morning started out with a Storybook Character Parade at Addison's school. She was the character from Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy. Every week she checks out a Fancy Nancy book from the library. Every week. 

After Addison's parade, we went to Alyssa's festival at her school. The night before, Alyssa decided that she wanted to be Doc McStuffins at school instead of Anna. However, she assured me that she still wanted to be Anna for trick or treating. Her BFF, Mia, was Elsa!

Alyssa's Field Trip

Alyssa went on her first field trip last week to Blessington Farms. We groomed the goats, slid down crazy slides, rode the train, went through the hay maze about 20 times, and played in the sand pit.
